The Nordic‑Baltic Forum in Rwanda - March 2026
Organized by Hills Connect Oy, a Finland-based consultancy founded by the Rwandan diaspora and Remode, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda to the Nordic Countries and Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda to the Baltic Countries with support of Rwanda Development Board (RDB), this high-level forum builds on longstanding partnerships in education, innovation, and sustainable development. Each partner brings unique strengths to drive meaningful collaboration between Rwanda and the Nordic–Baltic region.

This session will explore the critical links between antimicrobial resistance, vaccines, and clinical trials, highlighting their vital role in improving maternal and child health outcomes. Join experts and stakeholders as they discuss innovative strategies to tackle these pressing challenges and promote healthier futures.
- Antimicrobial resistance threatens effective treatment for mothers and children.

The forum facilitated the signing of nine Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), underscoring the commitment to long-term collaboration between Rwanda and the Nordic–Baltic regions - Sectoral Focus: Discussions centered on critical sectors such as education, agribusiness, health technology, and digital innovation, aiming to foster mutual growth and development..
- Educational Collaborations: A dedicated day highlighted the importance of education and research partnerships, with sessions focusing on digital innovation, capacity building, and collaborative teaching methods Cultural Exchange: The event concluded with cultural immersion activities, promoting deeper understanding and appreciation between the participating regions.
